They are committed to building a church in the south Twin Cities metro area that reaches out to the young and the young at heart. Pastor Rob believes in sharing God's message of love and acceptance through creative, unique, and relevant means. Pastor Rob was born and raised in the south Twin Cities and has been pastoring since 1989. He planted River Valley Church in 1995.

More on Joe… Pastor Joe and his wife Jennifer have been married since 1996 and have three children, Jodi, Joey, and Jada. Pastor Joe attended RVC in the very beginning when it was planted in 1995. He was the first intern, and then site coordinator while we were still portable. He has worked with our recovery ministry since 1999 and he joined the pastoral staff in 2003. Pastor Joe leads Celebrate Recovery and Beyond, our college, career, and young marrieds service, and is our number two preacher, preaching in Pastor Rob's absence.

At River Valley, she oversees the worship choir, decorating and stage design, and creative service planning. She also teaches the Tuesday morning MOM’s Bible Study.
