Care & Support

 

We believe an authentic church should strive to meet individual needs through relationships with others.  You can develop relationships with others through small groups and volunteer opportunities.  When additional care is required, the Care & Support teams exist to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of RVC attendees in unique life circumstances.

 

Support

 

Addiction Recovery
A safe group atmosphere for creating supportive relationships with others who share similar life struggles. Group topics include: substance abuse, relational issues, sexual abuse (women), sexual purity (men), divorce, and loss.  For more information visit the addiction recovery page or call 952.997.2222 or 507.334.4917.


Prayer Counseling
A safe and confidential place where you can come to receive Godly counsel through trained prayer ministers.  For more information visit the prayer counseling page or email pcm@rivervalley.org.


Care

 

Prayer
If you'd like someone to pray for you or someone who needs prayer, contact us prayer@rivervalley.org and your request will be shared with members of our prayer team. You can also leave a message for the prayer team at 952.997.2222 or 507.334.4917.

 

Hospital Visits
When illness or injury strikes, we are affected emotionally and spiritually. Our pastors are available to visit for prayer and encouragement if you, or someone you know, is hospitalized. To request visitation, contact us info@rivervalley.org or call 952.997.2222 or 507.334.4917.

 

Weddings
We are able to accommodate weddings at our facilities (applicable fees for services will be applied).  However, due to our Saturday evening services and other programming, our building usage is restricted. For more information, contact us at 952.997.2222 or 507.334.4917.

 

Funerals
If you or someone you know has experienced the loss of a family member you can contact us to make arrangements for an RVC pastor to conduct a funeral service here at RVC or at another location. For more information, call 952.997.2222 or 507.334.4917.

 

Care Ministry
If someone you know is welcoming a new addition to the family or are going through an illness or loss of a loved one, The Care Ministry team of RVC will provide your family with a week's worth of delicious meals - delivered right to your door.
